Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport is located around 35 km to the southwest of Rome’s city centre. Reaching the airport from the city, however, is easy. Simply hop aboard the Leonardo Express train at Termini Station and you will arrive at the airport within 30 minutes. The trains run non-stop and operate every 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the city centre, with the airport being served by a six-lane motorway.
