Munich Airport can be reached by train via the Munich suburban railway (S-Bahn) lines S1 and S8. The 33-km journey takes 45 minutes to get from the Marienplatz station to the airport, and the trains operate frequently between 04:00 and 01:30, taking just a 03h 30min break. Alternatively, the 635 bus service connects the airport to Freising railway station, which can be reached via trains from the city centre.
