Find your new happy place in Norway’s hidden gem Trondheim
Trondheim is a gorgeous city on the western coast of Norway. In Trondheim you can, for example, visit the famous Nidaros Cathedral that is one of the largest churches in Northern Europe. You can wander through the city between the colourful wooden houses or sit down and relax in a café by the water.
You can also just stop and breathe in the fascinating history of Trondheim. It used to be Norway’s capital until the 13th century, and it was also an important viking settlement. History enthusiasts can climb up to the Kristiansten Fortress on the easternmost side of the city and get to know the beautiful castle, built in 1685.
Trondheim is a compact city, so it is the perfect destination for a shorter city break. You can move around easily in the city centre, but there are countless sights to see. From 3 June 2019 onwards we fly to Trondheim direct from Helsinki. See our flight offers and book your next trip to Trondheim today!
